Job duties
• Plan, direct and evaluate the retail operations of the coffee and tea business
• Direct and oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff to build and sustain a high performing team
• Provide direction to external logistical, IT, and accounting services to support business operations
• Conduct research on buying trends, customer needs and sales performance and provide regular updates and feedback to business owner
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing plan and strategy which includes both traditional and digital campaigns to attract new customers, expand sales traffic and increase sales and profitability
• Promote Canadian coffee and tea brands in emerging North American and Asian markets
• Monitor budgets and operate within the given budget to maintain proper cash flow, appropriate levels of inventory and labor
• Maintain outstanding retail coffee shop condition and visual merchandising standards
• Resolve customer complaints with ease and maintains a high level of customer service at all times
• Any additional duties and tasks as required or assigned by the business owner

Job requirements
• Bachelor¡¯s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Management experience in a high-volume retail environment
• Good understanding of the field of eCommerce and digital marketing
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office and POS system)
• Expert communicator, both written and spoken, second language is an asset
• Track record of proven results in customer satisfaction
• Well-organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Effective problem solving/decision making abilities
